 Carbon Fibre Bellyboard The Carbon Fiber Bellyboard was developed to reduce the volume of the irradiated small bowel for patients undergoing treatment in the pelvic region. For treatment fields including the pubic bone towards the third lumbar vertebra, reduction of the irradiated small bowel volume up to 64% (four field box technique) can be obtained.

The bellyboard is also offered in an ABS version for routines not requiring the properties of carbon fiber. A Prone Thorax Support is available to relieve chest compression during treatments in the prone position. It can be used as a stand alone patient support or as an option on the bellyboard to allow large patients to be treated in the prone position.
