PREP™ Remote Treatment Planning Print

PREP™ – pReference Remote Electronic Planning – includes all the tools needed to implement a radiosurgery program for both cranial and extracranial applications. PREP offers a cost-effective alternative for first time entry into stereotactic radiosurgery. An experienced team of SRS planners provides completely remote, electronic, web-based planning. PREP provides an efficient, turn-key approach with a quick pay-back, no matter what your patient load.


Electronic Remote Planning Software provides state-of-the-art digital data importing, editing, contouring, and communication.
  • The Data Importer software provides importing and review of any DICOM data set. Following the user edit, the program builds the data into a 3D volume.

  • The Auto-contouring Tool eliminates the need for hard copy films. The user establishes optimal window and level settings, and delineates targets and critical structures in real time. Special features provide simple and efficient outlining.

  • PREP, the pReference web-enabled electronic radiation treatment planning service, uses embedded Java Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) pages. PREP delivers interactive, fully 3D plans to a remote general purpose desktop computer. Only an Internet Explorer or Netscape browser is needed to view the 3D plan on any PC. All information for plan review and treatment is included.
