MEDTEC’s body calipers can be used for tabletop distances to determine central-axis and off-axis measurements. The reversing caliper orientation assists in determining separations such as laterals, obliques, and off-table measurements. The wide base ensures perpendicularity to tabletop. A color-coded scale on both sides eliminates confusion with scale orientation.
The caliper eliminates dosage variations of up to 4%. It is made of precision-machined aluminum with a gold-tone finish. Components are hand-tapped, counterbored, and assembled with steel screws for strength and stability. The easy-to-read screenprinted scale is protected from wear by a recessed sliding scale indicator.
