Radiotherapy is clearly moving toward precision treatments with the highly conformal dose distributions provided by IMRT and Stereotactic Radiosurgery. As the trend toward higher doses, fewer fractions, and tighter margins becomes an important part of radiotherapy, verifiable localization is a necessity.
