MEDTEC’s MT-350-N Carbon Fiber Breastboard is the only breastboard available that is designed specifically with CT-compatibility in mind. The arm support sections of the board have been narrowed, allowing for higher angle elevations in a CT — without compromising patient support.
In addition, the Transverse Lok-BarTM, when used in combination with an indexed CT top, allows for lateral movement of the breastboard in the CT, resulting in increased clearance for one arm-up breast setups.
The breastboard features carbon fiber grid treatment panels for rigid support for the bi-lateral treatment windows. The breastboard’s carbon fiber construction not only makes it incredibly light, but it is also “treatment field friendly” with low attenuation coefficients.
The breastboard’s hip-pad consists of a comfortable, vinyl-covered support that indexes to any of 10 locations at 1.5” (3.81 cm) stops along the hip-pad. This hip-stop prevents patients from slipping down the inclined board.
The MT-350 features a unique positive-locking angulations system with pre-set angles in increments of 2.5˚ from 0˚ to 20˚, plus a 25˚ angle.
The versatile breastboard can accept Bi-Axial Arm Supports™, a Wing Board™, Vac-Lok™ cushions, or the Embrace™ Overhead Arm Positioner. Head support options include the standard round head cup, a donut-shaped gel head cup, a Timo head and neck support, or a Vac-Lok cushion. The breastboard is IPPS™ compatible.
