 The MEDTEC Lung Board is designed for treatments in the thorax region and is especially helpful for patients who have difficulty laying flat.
Especially beneficial for: - AP/AP lung fields.
- Lateral lung fields where patient’s arms must be held overhead out of the treatment field.
- Breast patients where extreme collimator angulation would be needed to follow curvature of chest if patient were to lie flat on table.
- Tangential treatments in the thorax; (patient may be located near edge of board).
The Lung Board features a rigid, radiotranslucent carbon fiber grid treatment panel and a vinyl-covered hip pad. The vinyl-covered head cup indexes to any of 17 positions. Delrin hand grips register to any of five positions per side.
The Lung Board includes four incline wedges in 5, 10, 15, and 20º increments. Custom incline wedges are available.
