The MT-800D alloy melter is specifically designed for radiation therapy block manufacturing. This 1.75-gallon unit features temperature sensitivity and ceramic heaters to duplicate the melt-down capacity of much larger melters. Four 7” (17.78 cm) legs elevate the unit above the casting plate, providing a safe and convenient method for dispensing alloy directly into the mold cavity.
The alloy melter has a temperature-sensing device located in a built-in thermo-well in the fully-insulated stainless steel melting chamber. The device features push-button temperature control programming for both tank and valve. Its carbon-steel ball-valve dispenser with heater prevents clogs and drips.
The alloy melter utilizes a digital readout for a constant temperature reference, as well as programmed tank and dispenser settings. It can be used with either 158º F (69.9º C) low-melt alloy or 203º F (94.9º C) medium-melt (cadmium-free) alloy. Both 110 and 220 volt models are available.
This highly-durable production melter has a heavy-gauge stainless steel inner and outer wall construction, with full-wrap ceramic heaters and heated ball-valve dispenser.
Then alloy melter is available in two model sizes, 1.5-gallon and 3.0-gallons. The melter features push-button programming temperature control for both tank and dispenser. Its digital readout provides a constant temperature reference, along with programmed tank and dispenser settings. It can be used with either 158º F (69.9º C) low-melt alloy or 203º F (94.9º C) medium-melt (cadmium-free) alloy. Both 110 and 220 volt models are available. |
